Why a mini-moon in Gower should be top of your wedding gift list
After months of hard work spent planning your special day, you deserve a little break to enjoy the blissful post-wedding buzz as newlyweds. As more and more couples get gifted with travel vouchers and donations towards the honeymoon, it makes sense to postpone the official honeymoon and take a few days break a little closer to home.
Of course, that doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice on an idyllic location, and we’d never suggest scrimping on luxury! With that in mind, a mini-moon in Gower could be just what you need, and with our two luxurious properties, The Coach House and Mulberry House, we have the perfect place for you to enjoy a rustic retreat in Gower.
With some of Europe’s best beaches on our very doorstep, you can enjoy a spectacular sea view without the jetlag! Whether you’re saving up for a bigger break at a later date or if you’d simply prefer to stay a little closer to home, Gower is a great place to enjoy your first few days of married life.
From the rolling fields and expansive salt marshes to the dramatic cliffs and rugged mountains that dominate the landscape, there are so many reasons to fall in love with this beautiful location. In fact, it was declared the UK’s first area of outstanding natural beauty in 1956. What’s more, both of our properties are located just a stone’s throw away from Gower’s most famous beach, Rhossili Bay, which has been voted Britain’s Best Beach, third-best in Europe and ninth-best in the world. It’s now got another one to add to the list as Suitcase Magazine have also named it within their list of top ten beaches in the world too.
Make it a party
It doesn’t have to be a mini-moon, it could be an extension of the wedding itself! Our luxurious cottage, Mulberry House, can accommodate up to ten of your nearest and dearest so you can prolong the wedding celebrations. With spectacular views and its own private hot tub, raise a glass to your new marital status with the help of your closest friends and family. Plus, due to some last minute cancellations, we have two key weekend dates available at Mulberry House this July on Friday 21st and Friday 28th, so get in touch to snap these up.
The Coach House is our chocolate-box pretty offering that’s located within the grounds of our sister property, Fairyhill. Accommodating up to six guests, The Coach House allows you take advantage of the benefits of a self-catering cottage whilst having the facilities of a luxurious hotel and award-winning restaurant right on your doorstep.
