We first exchanged glances at a Costa Coffee Shop back in 2011, it was lust at first sight and from then on in everything in our relationship moved pretty fast, we had moved in together and had our beautiful daughter Sienna within our first two years as a couple. When you know, you know…Fast forward to 2014, Matthew had filled our house with candles and a rose petal trail, finishing with an arrow of rose petals pointing to him down on one knee with the dreamiest engagement ring, of course I said YES!! We became Mr & Mrs. Lewis on a beautiful crisp and rare sunny day in November 2016.

  1. You must visit an Oldwalls showcase, these showcases really do allow you to vision your day! Oldwalls dress the venue fit for a wedding, it really is a breathtaking event! Nothing like your typical wedding fayre!
  2. Don’t just attend one showcase, attend as many as you can to sample the delicious food and meet with the local wedding suppliers on hand. The first showcase I met our incredible and super lovely photographer Marc Smith and it was at our third Oldwalls showcase that we met our amazingly talented florist Eve Weatherley ; Oldwalls only source the BEST!
  3. If you want to have a stress free, smooth running wedding-book Oldwalls! I am normally easily stressed, however planning our wedding was a breeze thanks to Oldwalls and the day itself-well our smiles filled our faces all day long, we couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful wedding.

Newly engaged, I couldn’t wait to go to my first wedding fayre. Just two weeks after the proposal I took my mum, mum-in-law and sister-in-law to an Oldwalls wedding showcase; one word-WOW. I provisionally booked the wedding that day with the hope that Matthew would also fall in love with Oldwalls, needless to say, this was the only venue we ever saw. From the onset, the staff were unbelievably helpful. Both the planning and the running of the day went so smoothly, we couldn’t have wished for a better venue!
